Martinis and Girls

Bond was my hero. He's cool, powerful, and of course, an English gentleman (the har-har part) I think he never goes hitting girls for no reason, did he?

After watching the newer Bond movies lately (Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World is not Enough) I find myself deeply in love with 007 again. Hah! My idol!

He's a smooth talking bastard, and he slept girls by the numbers... That's just GAY! Plus, he's got wits, can handle guns, and drive nice CARS around, kicking ass while he's on the move. Hoho!

I was going to buy all the Bond previous movies, but wonder what will my parents say. The first thing is my mum. She'll go, 'You have nothing better to do than watching 60s movies HAR??' Then my father will probably eye me oddly and keep quiet. They think Bond is boring---I remember my parents commenting on Dr No which was shown on the TV quite some time ago...

They said that Sean Connery is the best Bond, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan are good also. I don't know about the rest coz I only watch the Bond movies by Brosnan. Hmm... I'll wait until I've got a steady income, then I'll buy all the Bond movies in one go and enjoy them.

How odd. It was Wednesday when I go online searching for comments on Bond, and today in my lecture, I believe, Jaws was shown on the projector screen (we're learning something about acromegally ) and my lecturer, Dr Mun said, 'Ah... You know who's this? Of course you don't! He's from the James Bond movies!' I sort of recognize the metal teeth, due to the fact that I read some comments on Richard Kiel complaining about the painful prosthetic he'd got to wear during shoots... Heheheh...

Last but not least, the martini and the girl part... Aha! Bond girls. Wonder if they're the standard of hot babes nowadays. Me think yes, they're the perfect specimen of the female kind, minus some exceptions of course (such as Michelle Yoeh and Halle Berry, they, ah, sucked)

Hmm... Must try martinis some day at the bar. Guess how would the bartender respond when you answer, 'A martini... Shaken not stirred' I don't think he'll be surprised nor amused. People here are probably oblivious of this term. They're too absorbed in their world, which is kind of, sad! Then I have to instruct, "Just a moment. Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon-peel. Got it?"

Hehehehe... Obsession!
