Hooked up on soundtracks, this time it's from the Japanese Drama, 冰之世界 (Ice World) I just like those soft musics, not to mention some fast tracks. The way they arrange the soundtracks is kinda amusing, for example there's 'The Color of Eternal Love' and 'The Color of Last Love'; 'Inside the Heart Beats' and 'Outside a Heart Beats'... Kind of... Gay!
The ones I liked best is the beating hearts, the colors, and the red passions... Sad, haunting but yet peaceful... The red passions seems like a story long unfolded being told once again but with a sad tone... The colors brings out the colors of the night very well, the soundtracks corresponds well with the night...
Well... Can't talk much here... I'm going back to my Winamp to play some music...

PMR Results
Wow the results are out!
But of course, it's for my youngest brother, not me. Na na na... Congratulations lorrr.... Nice flush!
The photos seen in the newspaper about people bragging about their success (haha just joking) makes me wonder, what had I done in the past. Sadly enough (did I got through it?) I didn't secure a flush, meaning that I had failed myself (setting a target too high for myself). I still remember some teachers summoning me to the headmaster office, asking me whether I know some of these names (since I knew quite some people and I was the monitor before) and asking me to write out their Chinese characters. I have no idea what's going on during that day, I was just waiting for my results.
And then my classmates they got their results outside the office. I congratulated them and suddenly realized that... The names that I've written down in the office corresponds to the straight-A's in front of me. The worst part is---my name wasn't in the list. Immediately I wish that I wasn't there at all... You could imagine the pain. Now I'm not a good student, but people and I thought that I would get 7A's... Bah! There my dreams go! I did bad in the Chinese papers... People were rejoicing near the camera lenses but I was kinda alone, although standing in the midst of my friends...

Things get even worst by Form 4. I was separated from my best of friends (but in the process got to know good friends that I haven't even met before) I was so desperate to get into the first class, where all my best buddies since Form 1 was in. I was bugging the prefect master all day long (sorry, Miss Chu... I was so naive then) asking her where was the privilege she promised the prefects (the prefects were the king of that school that time. Now, times had changed, due to one and single person, who corrupted the whole board) I was throwing a temper around, and people can see me messing around. I believe poeple would be muttering behind me, "Look! He had fallen from grace! And he deserves that, as he was always so mean with us students!"
It was a wake up call, and that's the most important thing I've learnt from my PMR... Not science, not language, not geography, nor history... I just learnt how to wake up! Well I woke up well, but again the same thing happened in my SPM... Devastated? Yep~~~
But I woke up again, now that's the spirit I like about humans...
Finally I wish to congradulate all the PMR takers out there... If you score full A's, be glad and countinue to work hard. You deserve it! For those who does not fare quite "well", go on with ya lives! You are not dead yet, the world hasn't crumble yet. So, make something out of it. BE proud that you are still living like others and if others can do it, SO DO YOU!

A happy note --- Congrats to ruX2nub!

Last but not least, good luck to sienz!

Uh oh
Uh oh.... There's something quite wrong with my foot... The dorsal surface is kinda bulging above the whatever bone (head o talus? cuboid? medial cuneiform?) Should be the navicular... Cuboid's on the lateral... Sorry Bharti and Nah... Gave back what I've learnt! Going to the doc's tomorrow... Hope it isn't going to be some neoplastic events, not even a benign one... I don't want to go for surgery... Mah FAn!!

Mongolian Magnolia
I was buying a stick of Lion by Magnolia that day near my girlfriend's place... That Bangladeshi behind the counter sure know how to cheat me. He collected RM1, and kept the change for himself when the price stated is only 60 Cents... Now I'm not stingy, but wasn't he stealing? So I insisted and blah blah blah... It turned out that he 'misread' and 'misunderstood' the price tag, mumbling inaudibly to himself (while he's trying to explain the situation) so I finally get change back.
The fun begins when my GF complained about that poor man. She mentioned, he's a cheat, WTH (my language, not hers) was he doing etc etc... And she mentioned about my nice Mongolian Lion Stick... MONGOLIAN? Magnolia lar... We had quite a laugh about her Mongolian Lion Stick I'm licking. Can't stop laughing at her until she decided to take things into her hand... Then I had to stop... ROFL!! MONGOLIAN ice cream... Sorry arr, Huah!

My Friend...

My gift is my song
And this one's for you
And you can tell everybody
That this is your song
It maybe quite simple
But now that it's done
Hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind
That I put down in words
How wonderful life is now you're in the world
Sat on the roof
And I kicked off the moss
Well some of the verses well
They got me quite cross
But the sun's been kind
While I wrote this song
It's for people like you that
Keep it turned on
So excuse me for forgetting
But these things I do
You see I've forgotten
If they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen
And you can tell everybody
This is your song
It may be quite simple
But now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is now you're in the world

Trip Down (the great) Memory Lane
Went through the newest edition of Chan Wa's Magazine... Saw a lot (huge numbers) of fresh, sweet innocent looking faces, especially in the classes column. Wonder how did I ever forget that I, was once those stupid innocent kids, loitering in the school after classes, looking for fun and hot chicks!
Yep and my buddy was in the list of SPM achievers... Damn good she looked, I am not boasting... LOL!
And now sadly, exams is just around the corner, coming up from the distant horizon---doomsday! Argh!!!!! But luckily I had my songs... Hooked up to 'Wonderful' and 'To The Moon And Back'... Listened to both of them at almost any available opportunity...
And somehow I feel like watching over the lastest addition of the Star Wars epilogy... Yep, Obi Wan is the best, better looking, tougher fighter, sweeter talker, beeter accent than young, unskilled Anakin... Ah, too bad Anakin turned to the dark side... I would like to see him kickin' Palpatine's ass with Old Ben (sorry Ben, should had been Young Ben) and Mace plus Yoda... Wonder who'll triumph? Aih! But then history is history, poor, cute, gorgeous Amidala succumbed in her labour... Too bad! I would had gladly taken a lightsaber blow from Anakin if I had the honour to die in your arms, Princess...... Love you!

Battery woes
Never thought I would land in this kind of trouble, left my car untouched for 4 days, and then, the turn of the key made a funny sound in the engine, and it failed to start! Had to charge the battery using some cables (from Subang Carrefour) and Cheah's Honda's battery (obviously, his car is in much better shape than mine---he go for monthly services)
Stupid mess... Should I drive to KL tomorrow?

Taiping, Revisited
Ah, went up to Taiping again, but this time I got to spend a night on Maxwell Hill (compared to the last time, when we just snapped photos at the foot of the hill)
We were staying in a bungalow on the very top of the hill (but there are higher hills a few kilometres away, wonder why no one seemed interested in climbing one of those) It's a nicely renovated old wodden bungalow, kind of reminded me of scary scenes in stupid ghost movies!
We took a 'ride' up the hill on Rovers (if I'm not mistaken) The 'ride' was a cheap RM5 roller-coaster ride... We did 330 degree corners with some speed, and zoomed up all the way from the foot... Wonder how I made it up hill... I think I must thank my lucky star again. Sigh!
Anyway, we were welcomed by an old gentleman. We climbed some stairs, and reached our destination---a desolated bungalow on top of a desolated place... We were quite very happy indeed---we can finally make some noise (I don't think Mr Pak Jaga will ask us to shut up this time) since we were all alone, 27 of us, excluding the owners of course... However...
Lunch time! Yeah! We were about to start chomping away when a bird-watching lady appeared and said, "Wait for everyone before you start!" and later when everyone was seated, "Now I'll tell you about the rules BESIDES the rules printed out at the hall..."
Rule no. 1 - wait for everyone during meals
Rule no. 2 - no coupling
Rule no. 3 - make your own bed
Rule no. 4 - water is served but WASH the cups after you've used them, and PLACE it where you've taken it from
Rule no. 5 - don't waste food (Finally! One sensible rule!)
By the end of the lecture, we were really wondering if we had made a mistake. That was a summer camp, not a vacation... AHH!!!!!!!!
And the fun commences...
No gambling allowed but we were playing poker cards and Mahjong... Who cares, we were not placing bets anyway, so it's not gambling... No liquor. Well, fair... I can accept that. Too much alcohol kills you anyway... Eh! Was there any no smoking warning? We certainly don't want lung cancer, or some stupid stubs which burn the hill down... LOL!
Ah! Finally dinner came... BBQ and steamboat... WE were warned that we have to wash extra plates that we take from the kitchen... And at the end of all, the lady actually COUNTED the plates and ordered us to wash the extra ones... Wow! Luckily I don't have her as my mum...
While we were on the hill, we still managed to mess up things, as usual. We broke a swing and we destroyed her pot of flowers... She moaned at the flowers but luckily she didn't notice the swing... She'll had our balls for supper!
Anyway it's a nice trip (thanks to games such as Medic Idol, and Killer vs Police vs Medics vs Villagers) I must really thank the Taiping duo for planning such a nice outing for us! Hehehe... We should do this more often...

Lady Luck Behind Us
Wow... Winning the physiology quiz... Somewhat impossible stunt we've pulled off!
Lady luck must had been shining upon us yesterday, we nearly lost every round since the first round...
Let's see whether we're lucky or what...
SoonChai drew the lot for the first round on 9 September, since his lucky number is 9
PeiPei drew for the quartel finals since she has 8 for her lucky number
4 is KwokYeen's number, and he drew for the semi
14 teams participated, ShiunWoei's lucky number
and finally, 13 Universities/Colleges participated, and sweet 13 is my lucky lucky lucky number since primary school...
Hmm....
Finally, after all the shit above, I wish to express my greatest gratitude to my teammates, who worked so hard to achieve this, thanks to SoonChai and his idea (which I rebutted without serious consideration... SOrry!)
I also thank my fellow friends and juniors for their support during the quiz (lucky for us, we had the most number of supporters, which accounted for the loudest cheer in the hall... Hehehe)
And I wish to thank my lecturers and the physio department for their guidance and giving us a chance of a lifetime to participate in the quiz
Last but not least, thanks to the other teams, who travelled so far (some by air) to attend our quiz... I hope this would be a wonderful experience for us all!

Bored
I'm way bored... Gotta take some time off blogging and instead concentrate on the upcoming Physio Quiz... Great teams are coming in 10th September, sure don't want to disappoint my former lecturers and my fellow friends, who, purposely stay back 1 more day (it's our holidays) and spent RM10 for the ticket... Ahhh!! Feel like playing DoTA with KwokYeen than studying for the quiz... But what's in DoTA-ing?? Hmm... Tough choice!

Parental Love
Hmm... How should I put this? Usually in our Asian culture, parents seldom mention to their kids, "I love you!" and vice-versa. It's just not our custom to be so open with our emotions, we are all bottled up. But does this mean that our parents do not care about us? I seriously doubt so, needless to say, after the KL-Seremban-KL episode with my medical problem bugging me all the way...
Pathology is driving me crazy... All the funny stuff, gotta remember, and they said that Robbins' Basoc Pathology is kind of, too detailed? Is it so? From what I see, it is just a matter of us not knowing what to study... The topic is too wide, every sentence about inflammation is a nice, easy-to-read-as-well-as-easy-to-forget fact about our stupid body! LOL...
And the stupid people out there burning down trees for their plantations/farms... They are causing real damage here in Malaysia... KL's air pollution index is on the rise, and 2 areas had been issued a state of emergency status... All the offices, shops (except for food stalls?) and schools had been shut down until... Until the condition improve? Well... The government should really complain and sue the Indon government for causing real trouble... People choking all the way in the Peninsular just because some stupid people in the neighbouring country burning down forest---for their farms... Just for that, we had to suffer silently here... Irresponsible and stupid mode of action. We should really collect RM1 from everyone and use the funds to sue the Indons, as suggested by someone on the papers... This is not the first time. In 1997 there was a hazy situation also, and guess what? It was the Indons again... Sigh! They should really do something about this... Maybe brainwash their population? And our government had to waste money, sending firemen over the Straits to fight the fires... Lame!

Hello 2nd year
subjects = memory work... So much to read, more to memorize, if only time can stand still, and someone can sell me a chip --- plus a super processor and also a very advanced scanner... I'll just scan the books and implant the chip and voila! Everything will be all right! By the way, is brain chip ever going to make it to the market? If it does, how will the poor fare? They can't pay, surely it's a very very big disadvantage for them, especially in this competetive world! Hmm... Will the government supply every newborn with a chip? What about newer versions? Chip version 1.5 'outsmarting' chip 1.1.... Does that mean that older chips had to be replaced? If so, who'll pay for it? The gov for the poor? Again? Well... Their coffers will be empty in no time...
Hmm... Must really get off the habit of going online... Everytime I go online I'll be, 'Oh, look at these! WOw that rocks!' and after finishing, I'll be like, 'Dude! You wasted the whole night being online!' Aikz...
I want a laptop, a digicam, a Myvi, and one iPod... If only I can pay for all these... But sooner or later I'm going to get them, time will tell!
Aih feeling depressed for no apparent reason... Maybe I didn't play my routine Warcraft games last weekend...
She
May be the reason I survive,
The why and wherefor I'm alive,
The one I'll care for through the rough and ready years...
Me
I'll take her laughter and her tears,
and make them all my souveniors,
For where she goes I've got to be,
The meaning of my life is, she....
She....

Second Week, Second Year
Just woke up from a deep slumber, had taken some cold medicine and fallen asleep...
Well, going back to the university again! Later after my bath, I'll drive up to KL, maybe do some shopping in Midvalley, before returning to the damned routine of sleep, eat, swim, TV and study in University Towers!
2nd week of the 2nd year, is this some kind of funny coincidence if something odd should happen this week? I hope so... Something ought to happen, or my life will be so boring!
Suddenly I found a funny feeling running through my gut---I am taking my life for granted too much, taking things for granted also. Hmm... I should get rid of this attitude, it'll do me no good... Well, in shorter words, let's be more serious about life and do more work, but not to the way that I should forget to stop a while, take a breath and mention, 'Life is BEAUTIFUL! It's just my damned perception that life is stupid!'
Till next time =P

The End of The Orientation
The orientation is finally over, a glad note indeed! I certainly didn't expect that being a senior can be that tiring during the orientation week... Slept later than the juniors, but waking up at the same time... Very tiring, indeed! The final performances are great, especially Johore and NS juniors... Well, luckily my juniors didn't put N9 to shame! Keep it up!
And the orientation really exposed people's real thoughts... Yep some are really disgusting!
1. Perverts (spent most of his time 'orientating' nice looking freshies, and on many occasions, insisted on a 1-on-1 'orientation'... I wouldn't call that 'orientation'... Let's put it this way, it's just a cheap way to attract attention... Poor asshole!)
2. Boasters (so proud of himself, even though he had much achievements, but yet IMHO, one should remain more humble instead of telling anyone and everyone of his/her achievements... Real idiot!) And he who could not even manage a grammatically correct sentence trying to comment on juniors using broken, lousy English. The worst part is, his comments are not based on anything solid such as positive comments which the recipient could try to improve on. He's just dissing about the junior's--a girl--appearance, saying barrel bodied, ugly face... Well, who could have done something like that to a GIRL who had done nothing wrong to him in any place or time. Is it fair to her? Real bastard. I don't respect you even though you can make it to the highest level. You just don't deserve my respect! I hope you rot in hell!)
Now that it's finally over, I can sleep more...
And I just heard Crazy by K-Ci and Jo-jo... Suddenly I feel like I'm re-entering my younger secondary school days... It was such a great song, sadly I didn't know how to appreciate it then. So I downloaded the song immediately and I am enjoying it right now, in my room... hehe... In my SEREMBAN room... Never fails to go home... PBSM marr... Must really recruit some juniors, must be committed to our cause, dare to play truant and so!

Must really recruit some juniors, must be committed to our cause, dare to play truant and so!

Orientation
Bleh the orientation is in full progress now, my fellow nice frineds turning a new leaf, becoming the most fearsome people on Earth... My roommate just tore up some guy's book because the idiot (from Penang) mis-wrote Jit Sin as Jit Sing... OMG! Well, I must really consider wearing a mask to hide my kind heart too... Eh hehe??
The freshies are kind of blurrr... Yep, they're blur, the blurest I've ever seen (just because I haven't seen myself before, and I think I was blurer than the combined blurness of them) Teng Teng was a disappointment --- She's so blur, and she fell sick on Saturday, so I couldn't ask her much with her parched throat threatening her speech. She coughed a well lot of times, more than I can remember, but she's kind of cute, or is it some kind of deceit she's trying to play on uss? "Oh, yes, I'm the great pretender..." Maybe she should just sing this song on the closing night... We argued whether she's pretending on the mood to keep a low profile or she's just born like that, a "kuai kuai lui" Well, really hope she can speak up tomorrow... Tell us something about her mysterious past...
My junior, my intended buddy was a let-down too... I talked to her not more than 5 minutes yesterday, and didn't even meet her today, not during lunch, nor dinner... Well, was kind of hoping to see her being bullied by others... Kind of fun!
And there were some cute juniors too, the one I can remember is Bi Yoke from Perak... Haha! She's so adorable!!! I offered her soya drink but sadly she refused. After much persuading, she accepted but my fellow housemate ChenJoo spoilt my plan to quench her thirst - she asked too much questions and my dear Bi Yoke forgot to swallow up the cup of soya milk... Later during dinner time, I asked her whether she wants an ice-cream... And yet she refused based on grounds that she just recovered from a cough. I wanted to serve her some chips and she REFUSED again... Aih! Am I so malignant to a cute, adorable one like her?? Hmm... Consider changing my way of presenting myself... Maybe she'll fall for a different marketing scheme... LOL!

Rain in The Night
What's 'Rain in The Night'?
Well, it's a GREAT song from the oldest game in the Command&Conquer series, which I managed to find after a lot of hard work, and after downloading it, I couldn't resist the temptation to turn on the 'repeat' feature on Winamp...
It's about raining at night?? Maybe... In a darkly lit alley behind some pubs, where it's dark at night, you're alone, and the yellow sodium streetlamp above you making the raindrops ever more glittering before landing around you, on your head, your shoulders... And you wonder why had it come to this ending, when everything seems so perfectly fine... What is left to live for?
But I think of a better scene to match the song... Deep into the evening, the setting sun casting a golden yellow hue to the surroundings of the Caribbean... Laying back, reclining on the soft sands of the beach, watching the deserted yet beautiful beach, sipping some kind of exotic drink from a tall, nicely decorated glass, complete with a slice of lemon and a piece of paper umbrella... Approaching is a woman, at the height of her age and beauty, wearing nothing but a bikini, facing away from the sun... Her figure, so curved and perfect, is all that you can make out of her other than her hot lips... Despite the looming darkness threatening to engulf all, you can feel her sensuous aura, her need...
And when night comes, the nocturnal ones will become active again...
It's something like JamesBond meeting up with Natalya near the ending climax in Goldeneye... Yeah, suits that rather well...

Bleak bleak bleak
well, just visited some forum, saw some articles, and realised that a bleak future awaits me... LOL feeling so depressed right now... Just want to run through my Uni life normally like everyone else, don't mean any trouble (even after Uni years)
LOL but how bleak is my future? Doubt it can last forever...
Anyway let's talk about something more cheerful... I went to a hospital, Columbia Asia today to buy some medicine for my mum from a Dr.Khoo (a consultant wow! in O&G) I went there with my GIRLFRIEND ONLY. While I was registering, the woman behind the counter flashed me a odd, meaningful smile, asking, "You want to see Dr.Khoo?" I nodded, not understanding her smile, and turned to my girlfriend, and....... It clicked suddenly. There I was in my twenties, my girlfriend by my side, wishing to consult an O&G consultant... Well... What do you think?
It didn't end there, when we were walking around the corridors, my girlfriend pointed out Dr.Khoo's door --- her habit to point out everything... And a young couple with the wife pregnant STARED at us for one moment... Jeez they really stared although for, let's say, one second... LOL! And the guy kept following me with his eyes when we were waiting to pay at the counter... Well... What could I have done? Attracted a lot of unwanted attention... ROFL!

A Trip to Seremban
Yesterday, HuiChean, KahKian and SuYan came to Seremban, with SeeJong arriving a day before...
That day while I was driving out to pick up SeeJong, a girl behind me knocked into a motorcyclist at the Taman Makmur junction....
SuYan ran a red light yesterday, and was nearly issued a fine of RM 300 by 2 policemen (one totting a MP5...)
My car was scratched by some guy who obviously does not know how to squeeze into his car and maneuver a narrow, small parking lot... He thought I'm blocking his way! I think he's driving a white car, aged 40+... What an ass!
My car ran out of battery (luckily we managed to travel back home from PD with the low battery indicator lights on all the way)
Well, a dark trip!

Football & Dorama
Played a round of football that day, found out my 4 greatest weakness... 1-Stamina---I cannot run half the field without running out of breath, and running the whole field (including the return trip) makes me felt like puking and fainting... 2-Speed---something to do with stamina also, I just cannot keep up with forwards, pathetic... 3-Skills---ought to be better in this field since I cannot run, but sadly, the truth is, I suck too at skills as I don't even know the basics of controlling the ball, I was so used to the pump-the-ball defender position that I used to play in my very early days... 4-Confidence---this is the most serious problem I'm facing, I kept thinking that someone will get to the ball at my feet, and panic easily. I tried to remedy this that day, and I find that with all my weakness, I am not that bad either at maintaining the ball, as long as I do not panic... PANIC!!!! I always panic... =P
Anyway, I just watched Love Generation... Wow the drama is one of the best I've ever seen! Better than those average HongKong dramas, no way compared... Takuya was great in his role (my favorite Japanese actor of course) and MatsuTakako was also very good (indeed!) playing her part as the blah-blah-blah Riko (I love RIKO!!!) Wow... Too bad I didn't watched this earlier, such a nice dorama, somewhat equal in quality to LongVacation... Maybe even better as it focus more on the theme --- Love! And the soundtracks are not bad too!

Genting Highlands
went up to Genting Highlands on 29th June to spend a night there. Well I was really destined to meet KGV tuition mates these days, met them at S2 Siang Malam then at KL Central then at the Genting Skyway....
Well the highest part of the trip is spent at a disco in Genting. But the music sucks and the DJ kind of sucks too... His choice of time to voice out something during the dance floor session is totally lousy and out of beat with the music... Ant they use a lot of Chinese and Techno, which I find lousy... I prefer R&B... Zouk's still the best!
And there was 1 old guy there sitting near us, got a big beer tummy, wore outdated glasses, balding, over-aged and yet he kept on wandering around looking for preys a.k.a. pretty girls. I heard that he even invited my friends to dance. And he tried to give the band singer some beer, which she declined... SOme people should just take some time to look into the mirror to see reality, and where they stand... Really disgusting!
Then when we departed from the Skyway via bus to KL Central, there was another basterd on the bus, this time a golden-haired-not-so-pretty fat girl. She was sitting on our seat (the number's on our tickets) and she refused to budge and said that it was free seatings on the bus while maintaining a stupid I-rule-the-world-who-the-fuck-are-you face... Well, feeling like shoving a broomstick up her ass...
And my good friend JianYou seems to be listening to Lonely by Akon over and over and over again. He heard this song (which he dislikes) everywhere he's been, and I counted this situation over 10 times in 3 days... Spooky?
When we're taking to Commuter back to Seremban, we saw some touching things. A guy boarded at Midvalley, holding a bouqeut of flowers, alone... And then we were guessing what he's up to... Begging for forgiveness? Anniversary? Some new girl? And then he slept on the commuter, leaning over the daises... The picture was so cute!! Unluckily, he got out at Nilai, and we couldn't follow him to see the ending... Too bad! We even took his picture!! But we'll have to wait for JianYou to send it to me. Till next time!!!

North Bound
Haha, went to the Northern States this week...
Firstly, I wish to convey my greatest gratitude to Chen Hong, our 'tai ko'... Man, he drove us (me from Seremban) all the way up up up north to Penang (the pearl of the east?)... God knows how he stayed awake behind the wheels... Bless him!
Secondly, thank you all for your hospitality, namely, ChinYee (Tanjung Malim), ChuiYing (Kampar), Peter, SuetChee (Ipoh), ChenJoo (Taiping), Chelsia, ShiunWoei (Penang), and... did I forget anyone else??
Thirdly, thank you for the great company, ChenHong, SuetChee, ChinYee, Neoh, ChuiYing, Peter, UPM friends, ManChin, WaiLeong, ChenJoo, Chelsia, BouChen, and ShiunWoei... my poor memory, did I forget anyone else?
Wow this trip is AWESOME! Kampar and Tanjung Malim was small (never expected) but Ipoh was impressive, never thought it was a city... It was big, and the transvestites are an awful sight (no offence, but they are, well.... just gay) We even went rounding in our cars at 2am just to catch a sight of them, fueled by curiosity... LOL!
Taiping was quiet, but really peaceful. The night safari was cool, not to mention scary too! A hippo once escaped the zoo and made Taiping Lake it's new home... I was thinking, what if a tiger escaped that night?? It would had have a great supper... And the black panters are kind of aggitated... Never stopped preying us. Bad thing (for them) is that an iron cage separated us...
Penang is really a food haven, we can't stop eating, and the ferry ride back to the peninsular was great (and chilling too at night)... Well, we got a taste of Chelsia's Form 6 life... Ha ha ha!!
Well, really hope that there will be another trip again... But the question is WHEN and WHERE??? Well... We'll figure that out!

A Day in KL and Peculiar A1107
Yesterday I went back to KL for some matters in the university... My 'matter' ends at about 10am, and before a 'Hurray' can be even uttered from my big mouth I'm gone in my old Sunny looking for fun in Sunway Pyramid. Where else could I go?
There's a crazy car blocking my old-blue-Sunny near the Sunway/LDP/Federal Highway interchange. I forgot what's the model but its a new car from Penang, and it's doing like, a tortoise's pace on the freeway... Oh my god! And I'm right behind him! Penang 'lang leading an impatient young driver! And I managed to overtake him at the hotel's entrance, and he followed me (kind of) along the stretch in front of the pyramid and up to the parking lot. He even take his own sweet time rolling his car up the slope before the parking entrance. I really pity his driving (can't even make up his mind where to park when the parking block is right in front of him etc) and also the poor driver (who might be driven nuts and cursing in different languages) behind him... Finally he followed me again in the parking area and I have to zoom through the parking levels at top speed to lose him... What a....
Back in the skating ring again... My GF obviously has no experience of skating before, and it proved to be a terrible experience for her. Well, for me, I fell a couple of times, before ending on my butt (with my legs kickin' high hahaha!) while trying to navigate around a suddenly appeared girl... Before long, my GF is bored to hell, and I am exhausted so we headed home...
At night, the spookings began in A1107... We heard funny sounds, thought it was a rat (worse, I had idea of a monster who so spawned in my unit) and nothing turned out as we searched through the plastic bags (armed with squash racquets, my credit to BouChen who, in her hurry to go home, left it on her table??) My GF sought of forgotten the sounds but I heard it twice again, and it didn't seem coming from the other units... I was really anxious---what if it was really a monster?? Ghosts??
Luckily I didn't hear anything before and in my sleep... The day ends peacefully...

The Wishing Stairs
Wow I just finished watching The Wishing Stairs--a Korean horror/thriller... It's 2am here and I'm left all alone in the reading room, the family is well in dreamland... Spooked I am now... Keep thinking that a hairy head would pop up just behind me and hold me by my ears with her cold hands... Eh!! I'm getting goose pimples right now!!!
Anyway the movie wasn't quite nice as expected... Luckily I didn't go to the theaters for this show... It wasn't quite as scary (well, typical Asian horror movies... excluding Ju-On of course) and the storyline is not quite good as well... Well the start is a good one---jealousy and competition but it soon deteriorate into funny spookings and halfway through the sightings I got bored (but decided against forwarding the movie) so I finally got to the end (which, is not very good either)
Personally, I would give this movie a rating of 3/10 and the reason it got a 3 is because of the nice pretty leads... LOL!!! It lack depth (as horror movies do)... And a lousy story/ending... Bah!!! Almost every twist is already expected... So what's the fun??

Movies Movies Movies Anyone?
Recently, due to the long holidays, I had to resort to movies to remedy my loneliness. So I got myself a few nice titles---American Beauty, and blah blah blah... OMG! I can only remember watching AmericanBeauty! Hmm... Maybe the other films didn't cause a big impact on viewers...
Anyway, since I am so free now, I ought to go to the cinemas (the last time was, hmm, 14th February me think) and catch up with the latest ones. Yeah, Episode 3. Saw some scences on TV last night (some programme, some chit-chat at Skywalker ranch) and it was awesome! I really couldn't understand some of my friends who said, "Don't go... You'll regret..."
OK, Master Yoda... I won't think... Me will follow my feelings...

Sepet
Monday morning blues I was feeling that day in the lecture hall, listening to Normadiah's Embrio lecture about dunno what pharyngeal arches (and pharyngeal pouches* just as we thought that she had gone thru all the powerpoint slides)... But after she stepped down, an interesting class rep. went promoting this "Sepet", which will cost us RM2 per head, and will be aired in DewanJemerlang (1 very very new lecture hall, compared to what we've used hehe) that night at 9pm... As we were still considering whether to go to this 'Sepet', my friends and I decided that we should go back to UT and discuss, no one really took it seriously.
Back in UT, this 'Sepet' film was getting hotter by the minute... I asked anyone in sight whether they wanted to attend the movie, some agreed but we haven't got the ticket, and no one knew where on earth is the class rep. (he's selling them for RM2) So we went to classes as usual in the afternoon, still not sure whether we'll make it.
After my Anatomy SDL (Self Directing Learning, taken by Dr. Laskhmi... OMG she took us all around and around, kept my head spinning like a gasing, talking about nerves and their connection, "it's like wiring in a house... bla bla bla") I decided to walk over to the Faculty at night to just see if I can make the last ticket---don't have the slightest idea whether it's sold out... But then they're showing this film to make money for the Baktisiswa (some kind of programme) so I thought that why wouldn't they accept another willing-to-pay-to-sit-on-the-floor-instead-of-the-chairs audience?? Good point??
So 4 of us CJ, Chelsia, and BC went walking at 8.45 pm (sadly, ManChin and James didn't join us) We found out that day that if you walked alone at night in the faculty, you might just get a sudden increase in sympathetic stimulation out of nothing at all, and probably will faint because it was damn spooky... The quiet atmosphere, the monotonous yet lively humming of the air-con unit, the cool breeze, the full moon, the dark corners, the unlitted corridors, the darkened rooms... I'll go crazy, it's like something might just be lurking around the corner, waiting for the best moment to pounce on you, taking you into the unknown... Hehe Chelsia did get spooked quite badly, by the stupid guy who walked in front of her who suddenly turned around and kind of yelled, 'Eh!! I can see it!!! IT"S THERE!!! A......!' Guess who is he?
Well, the tickets were not sold out after all... There was only a handful of people in the lecture hall, lucky for us (we get seats!)
And then the movie started....................
Bleeeeee it was really nice, especially for a Malaysia movie... Deep in theme and ideas... The acting's not bad too, however there was still some flaws, such as at the final scene, where Orked was leaving in the car, the ambient noise is horrendous. I can't catch what her father was saying, and her mother cried too much (Chelsia actually laughed at her that moment) it's just not natural... Will your mother cry like that even if she's that touch? I seriously doubt so, maybe a few tears would be sufficient...
And that guy... Aih!!! It's like a saying in Chinese, 1 leg stppeing on 2 boats... If he loved Orked, he should haved make things clear between him and the other Chinese girl. Instead he made her pregnant... But without these dramatic twists, the film wouldn't be nice anymore isn't it?
And the ending is somewhat confusing... He's dead? He's alive? He speaks? His soul speaks? Spooky...
Earthquake in UT!!!
That fateful day... I came back from SS2 'pasar malam' with my GF... Thought of studying some physiology for the following day's lecture---about howmones secretion... Since it's late, I played some RobbieWilliam's songs on my CD player...
I was studying peacefully and the atmosphere is so..... quiet.... peaceful... cars pasisng by Jalan University at night and you can hear the nice friction of their tires...
And then I felt IT...
I was SHAKING... but I thought it was due to my headphones (I get dizziness listening to too much songs using headphones, especially CHEAP headphones) So I wanted to find out whether it was just me and my poor, throbbing head, and decided to rock the sofa I's sitting on... Well, it didn't rock that much (a good sofa, stable on its 4 legs) At last I got a little confused but decided to let things be... Bla bla bla...
But then my room-mate CPingLik stood up in the dining hall, "Isn't it shaking??" Then CChenJoo raised from her perch and... "YES!!!??" We were still deciding what was it when the sleeping beauties came out of their room and asked basically the same question... Blah blah blah... Finally we came to a conclusion (which took us about 20 sec) and then we ran, sort of...
but not forgetting ShunWoei...
I was in the corridor alone after waiting for SW... They had all fled, and then I decided to go... a malay lady opened the door and asked, "IS it shaking??" I gave a hurried,"Earthquake!!" and then the answer is,"can the lifts be used?" A crazy idea ran through my mind... LIFTS?? ARE YOU CRAZY??? U'll BE KILLED if the electricity gets knocked out... Blah blah blah...
as I was walking (not running) down the stairs, I phoned my family in Seremban... My mum fely it too!!! OMG!!! This is just GREAT!!! A huge earthquake!!! Tidal waves again??? I quickly messaged my friends... Universities are having term breaks, and I don't want my friends to become nameless bodies lying on the shores of, say, PortDickson... or even Langkawi... These are a few responses I got:
"You sure??"
"Who are you? Are you kidding?"
"Are you joking?"
Well...
Then I got out of the building---wow!!! People had already parked their already-parked-in-the-safe-basement cars outside beside the road... and I met up with my apartment mates.... we heehaa outside, if not for the late hour, it'll be a nice heehaa... we contacted friends/families and discovered that Johore, NS, Selangor, Perak and Penang had felt tremors... Seems like a pretty big quake!
Well....
So things got a little boring and finally after half an hour we went back to our rooms... watched the news, 8.? earthquake in Sumantera... and slept...
......and fished (yawning) in the lecture hall the next morning...
cool earthquake... yeah...

Vanilla Sky
Open your eyes.....
Open your eyes.....
Open your eyes.....
I didn't invite you, Julie...
So this is what's become of Rock n Roll...
a smashed guitar behind a glass case displayed on some rich guy's wall...
It was a gift actually....
I like it!
She seems to be crying, less happy...
I think she's the saddest girl to ever hold a martini...
I've never drawn such a true likeness before...
Mine's finished...
Oh, really??
So that's how you see me??? $$$$$ It's wonderful, sign it!!
Let's see yours....
no...
Give me that!!
I feel bad........
You're good...
Where are you going?? Come here, I need to tell you something...
Julie.... You're following me!!
How did it go with the moth-girl, she turned into a butterfly for you?
Yes, she did....she did...
Readying to bury your father and your mother,
What did you think when you lost another?
I used to wonder why did you bother,
Distanced from one, blind to the other?
Listen here my sister and my brother
What would you care if you lost the other?
I always wonder why did we bother,
Distanced from one, deaf to the other.
Oh, oh, oh but sweetness follows......
Open your eyes...
So i forced my hands in my pockets
And felt with my thumbs,
And gallantly handed her
My very last piece of gum.
She threw me outside,
I stood in the dirt where ev'ryone walked.
And after finding i'd
Forgotten my shirt,
I went back and knocked.
I waited in the hallway, she went to get it,
And i tried to make sense
Out of that picture of you in your wheelchair
That leaned up against . . .
The subconscious is a very powerful thing...
This is the revolution of the mind...
I wanna wake up!!!
It's a nightmare!!!
Tech Support!!!!!!!
Now we're heading towards your true moment of your choice...
But then, somebody died...
You longed for Sophia... You shut yourself away for months...
You're in love... You couldn't stand the pain anymore...
Headaches... You can barely function...
I remember........
Somebody died.... It was me...
You were missed, David...
It was Sophia who never fully recovered...
It was she who somehow knew you the best...
Unlike you, she never forget that, one night where true love seemed to foster...
Consequences, David...
Any last wishes???
Look at this... I'm frozen and you're dead... And I love you...
It's a problem...
I lost you when I get on that car... I'm sorry...
Do you remember what you'd told me once??
That every passing minute is another chance to turn it around......
You'll find me again...
I'll see you in another life, when we're both cats...
Relax, David... Open your eyes...
Open your eyes.....

First Timer
My first Blog... I am now officially a Blog-ger... Got this 'addictive' blogging habit, no thanks to my housemate Chelsia, who herself, is a Blog-ger here too... Let's see, why do I even bother to blog?? I like writing, but will eventually throw it (my creations) away in disgust after reading it and editing it time over time... Got fed-up with writing not long ago during my Form 6 years, English is not a compulsory subject then (even now), so I just concentrated on my other subjects... I owe all my English teachers --- namely : Mdm Foo, SKLee, Ms Sheila Rocky, Ms ChungPK, Mdm ChuaCC --- an apology... sorry!!! For neglecting English, I'm now stucked here trying to think before typing, which is unusual for me... "Cocky-Dude-who-Thinks-His-English-is-sooo-GOOD", you can call me that... hu hu!! Now, my English sucks totally, which is so different from the old days---where I rely only on intuition (not grammar rules, not spelling memorization) to convey my thoughts... Hmm... I would say I speak Manglish instead of English today---what a shame!!
And my desktop sucks also.... No thanks to some stupid anti virus, I think I've deleted some crucial files and now cannot install Chinese Star on my XP... Too bad, no Chinese characters here too... What I'm going to do... is to... spell out those words (han yu pin yin) and label them with their way of pronounciation (han4 yu3 pin4 yin1)... Understood??
Now for curing my odd habit of putting in too much those dots "......."... must find a good remedy to avoid writing prescription such as, "Drug XXX......... 3 times a day......... after meals......" I seriously doubt that there will be just enough space for my "tiny" handwriting to fit in....
Yea.... Now I'm waiting for TTeng.... Gotta protect/shield her from some idiocy (and also some unmatured people out there waiting to get her), be her guardian angel, and when the O is over, then I'm not needed anymore?? Maybe by then I can be a fallen angel... sounds cool, some nice dude who's turned to the dark side and yet there is still light in him (that's me... me me!! Not Anakin by the way) And I'm also anxious to see whether the others who's taking Biology will get brainwashed by their so-called know-it-all "superiors"... Hmm... Nice dilemma... Wishes vs Dreams... who shall prevail??
